I choose to write about the first image in the slide show. I took this photo on the stairs in the 100's. The subject of my photo is the railing on the side of the stairs, it is the subject because it is the clearest part of the photo and the closest to the viewer. I took the photo as i was about to walk down the first set of stairs to the 100's. I was mere inches from the subject. My view is unique because it is mostly from above but in the left corner from below. The photo is horizontal. I used the rule of thirds in this photo because the subject is off to the left and not centered. There is plenty of examples of line and shape in this image and there is a lot of positive and negative space. This photo is very dynamic and successfully leads the viewer's eye through it.
